Come and join us for Stay and Play every Thursday. This is an opportunity for parents to get to know the staff at the school, meet new parents and have the opportunity to ask questions about September. You may also have an opportunity to meet our current pupils and parents!

Meet Our Family Support WorkerSarah Kelly (2)

I am a locally based mother of two and have lived in the area for twenty years. I have sixteen years’ experience working with young children, from Makaton and Sing/Sign groups to Nursery Nurse and running a very successful Sure Start drop in group.

As the Kilburn Grange School Family Support worker, I can offer advice, information and general support with:

  • Local activities and parent groups.
  • Housing and benefit services.
  • Nursery Schools and drop in sessions in the local area.
  • Short breaks for families who find themselves on low income.
  • Families who need assistance.
  • School policies and procedures.
  • English language classes.

In addition I am available for home visits and general parenting advice. I can help with speech and language, employment workshops and I run weekly Stay and Play sessions for new and existing parents.

I am available every morning for an informal chat in the playground from 8:30a.m until 9:00a.m. and every Thursday at 3:30p.m.  If you would like to meet me to discuss matters in confidence, I am available by appointment from 10:30a.m. – 11:30a.m. every day.

The Stay and Play sessions on Thursday mornings take place between 10.30 and 11.30. Please feel free to come and drop in. It is a great opportunity for you to get a feel for our school, meet your child’s future peers and have a relaxing and fun time playing with your child. I will be available to answer your questions and help you to feel positive about your transition into primary school.

I look forward to meeting you.

Mrs Sarah Kelly
