What is happening is Reception class?

It’s been a wonderful first week back! Coconut Class got stuck in with all their learning and assessments. The class have been introduced their new topic “Once Upon a Time” and our current key text is Jack and the Beanstalk, which the children enjoyed role playing.

For the first week back after a relaxing half term, Year 5, Walnut Class have started off the week with handwriting practice and Maths learning!  

Helen Khinich appointed as Headteacher

World Book Day

Children and staff came in to school dressed as their favourite book character. They all looked amazing!

Sports hall Athletics

Children from Year 5 and 6 were selected to take part in the Sports hall athletics. They competed in many games and came 10th place out of 14 schools. Well done to everyone who took part!  

Willow Class are learning about World War 1

In history, Year 6, Willow Class have been learning about about life in the trenches during the First World War. They made a periscopes and pretended to look over the trench to get a view above ground.  

Reception exploring Kilburn Park

Coconut class had an amazing time at Kilburn Grange Park today. They went exploring around the park and discussed why the trees had no leaves, what season it is, the features of a park and the children had plenty more things to say about the things they discovered.  

Year 5 learning to use Google Maps

Sycamore class enjoyed using Google Maps and atlases to map Africa and locate the ancient Kingdom of Benin within modern day Nigeria.

British Dodgeball Schools Championships

Kilburn Grange School took part in the British Dodge ball Schools Championships, County Greater London – North West. They played amazingly and were very proactive working as a team and won first place! Well done to everyone who took part! Congratulations!
