Welcome

Kilburn Grange School is a proposed free school which plans to open at the former College of North West London Kilburn campus, Priory Park Road, just off Kilburn High Road, NW6 7UJ in September 2015. The purpose-built, award-winning education building has been purchased on behalf of Kilburn Grange School by The Education Funding Agency to ensure the future provision of more primary school places in the area.

A non-fee paying, non-selective, non-denominational, co-educational primary school, Kilburn Grange School will welcome children from all backgrounds. Initially opening in 2015 with two classes of 30 in the Reception Year, the school will grow organically to reach its full capacity of 420 pupils in 2021.

Operated by Bellevue Place Education Trust, the school will offer a broad and balanced curriculum with specific focus on literacy and numeracy. The school will focus on high academic attainment, operating in a supportive environment and will employ proven pedagogical approaches delivered only by qualified teaching staff.

The school’s belief is that children learn best when they are happy and excited by what’s happening in the classroom; excellent achievements will be a by-product of the education on offer and not the only goal. The school’s aim is to instil a love of learning in all pupils and provide a solid foundation to build on, in the transition to secondary education and into a life of learning. Every pupil at the school will be encouraged to achieve their maximum potential within a happy, nurturing environment.
