There are two children jumping for joy.

Autumn Term Updates

It will come as no surprise that we have had an exciting and busy start to the new term.

Here is an overview of some of the things that have been going on:

  • Our children have settled into their new classes which all have new names! We have decided to name all our classes after trees and the children spent the first three days learning all about their class tree.
  • Many of you were able to join our ‘Meet the LAB and SLT’ meeting which was very well attended. We thank those of you who were able to come. If you were unable to attend, the details of our Parental Engagement Overview and the summary School Improvement Plan (SIP) are on the website.
  • Music and art lessons have begun. Our new music teacher, Bethan, has already been teaching our Y4 children how to play the recorder and Ms Fedurek, our new art teacher, has been teaching children how to recognise light and shade and show it in their drawings. Swimming lessons have also begun for Yrs 3 and 4.
  • Our new School Council has been elected and they will meet regularly with Ms Fedurek to ensure that we continue to listen to our children’s voice and their views.
