As part of our learning, ‘London is calling’ topic Year 1 went inside London’s iconic Tower Bridge to gaze beneath its glass floor, browse its exhibitions and visit the Victorian engine rooms. We had a look at lots of different landmarks, such the Shard, Tower of London, The Gherkin and River Thames. Not only did we look at the fantastic views, we also also learnt a lot about the history of Tower Bridge and how the draw bridge works. This was a really fun trip and helped us to expand on our knowledge of our great city!
