Extra-Curricular Activities

At Kilburn Grange School we have a substantial provision of wrap-around care and out of classroom experiences. These experiences not only make the curriculum more engaging and memorable, but deepen children’s understanding of what they learn in class, develop new skills, and foster friendships.

Inquisitive Explorers

Inquisitive Explorers is one of our six curriculum drivers as we believe enriching experiences such as educational visits and visitors, after-school clubs, competitions and residentials ignite a love of learning and bring our curriculum to life.

Sunrise Club

Our breakfast club from 7.45am - 8.30am, Monday to Friday

After-school clubs

Monday to Friday, from 3.45pm - 4.45pm.

Activities change every term, but they are designed to cater for all pupils, from Reception to Year 6:

  • Football
  • Dodgeball
  • Basketball
  • Art
  • Horrible History
  • Film and games
  • Cookery
  • Chess
  • Box exercise
  • Design and technology
  • Home learning club: homework support
  • Century tech: an online learning platform for maths, IT and English, for Years 2-6.

Children are provided with a healthy snack before their activities start.

Sunset Club

Our later school provision runs from 4.45pm-5.30pm, from Monday to Thursday.

How to sign up

At the start of each term, a listing of available clubs is provided to all families. Parents and guardians can then register their children for their preferred clubs through the Scopay online system.
